Merlin Mann on Back to Work #55:
Contrary to what you might believe, there is a surprising amount to be...
Hours shaved off every day? Innumerable.
Lazy Sunday.
Riiiight.
Frog in the big city.
Mother’s Day makes me sad,
because I know that it must be a painful reminder for her of the fact that she has only two children now
where she once had three;
and there are no cards or flowers or gifts or special lunches in the world that can fix that.
Still, we had a good day today. We cooked, we ate, we laughed, we sat in the sunshine, and we laughed some more. We made new memories, and we bonded over old ones. I treasure these days more than ever now.
(And yes, I’m the squinty-eyed little girl in the front. Stop sniggering.)
